      As a musician and an audiophile, I've tried many different earplugs. I usually encounter 2 issues - The earplugs muffle the sound too much so I can't hear any definition in the music; and the earplugs make it so I can hear myself in my head when I talk. I'm happy to say both of these issues don't happen with these buds. If I put them in and set to -7 dB I can still hear the musicality but the harsh highs are rolled off and the boomy bass tones are muted. Also, I don't get the 'talking in my head' effect nearly as much. It happens a little, which actually works great when singing, because it acts as a kind of personal monitor so I can harmonize.

      Besides that, they look cool and having them magnetized is very convenient to keep in my pocket.

      I've been using them on a Latin gig. I'm a trumpet player and it's very hard to hear myself. With the plugs, I can hear myself internally. I can still hear everything in the band, but the timbales are no longer killing me.

      I dared to order these earplugs because of a discount promotion, as I find them far too expensive at the regular price. However, I had always found the adjustable noise reduction very interesting.
      First of all, I was very irritated that the product is shipped directly from China. This is not apparent anywhere and would also have stopped me from buying it, as there are always problems with returns and warranty claims.
      When unpacking it—the packaging is still quite appealing and high-quality—I was then very disappointed. The build quality is abysmal for a €199 product. The earplugs are made of thin, extremely cheap-looking plastic. The various ear pieces are also more of the cheap variety, even though it is positive that a large selection is included.
      As far as functionality is concerned, they reduce the volume well and the music reaches the eardrum relatively unaltered; it only becomes minimally duller. But when adjusting the attenuation, I could not detect any noticeable effect.

      Conclusion:
      For that money, I’ll buy two sets of custom-made professional earplugs from the store next door.
