Use the correct cable
Flow only works with cables that support data transfer.
Use the included cable whenever possible.
Many third-party USB-C cables are charging-only and will power the microphone without carrying audio data, which means the microphone may appear on but will not be detected correctly.
If you use a different cable, make sure it is specifically a USB data cable.

Using iOS devices
- Insert the USB-C or Lightning cable in your mobile device, and plug the other end into the microphone.
- Turn on the microphone. The LED will turn on.
- Your microphone will automatically be detected and work in iOS apps that support external microphones.
- (Optional) Insert your headphone cable in the cable manager and connect it to the 3.5mm jack to monitor what is being recorded.
If you do not hear monitoring through the headphone jack, make sure the recording app is actively using Flow as the input device.
Using other devices
Flow microphone is also compatible with Android, macOS, and Windows.
Please refer to the iOS instructions, but switch to the appropriate cable.
If the microphone powers on but no audio is detected, first test with one of the included cables and then try a different recording app.
Please note that certain Android applications may not support external microphones, so if you experience issues during setup we recommend trying multiple apps.
Compliance
Store this product and its accessories out of children's reach. Improper handling or use by children can lead to serious injury or death. Small parts and cords may present a choking or strangulation hazard. Never submerge in water under any circumstances. Do not expose to extreme temperatures.
