    Who is this for?

    You want this connector if your device has a 4.4mm balanced output, such as a hi-res audio player, portable DAC/amp, headphone amplifier, or compatible audio interface, and you want to unlock its balanced output with Wave Pro.

    Who is this not for?

    You do not need this connector if:

    • Your device only has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. The cable included with Wave Pro already connects directly.
    • You mainly listen on a phone, tablet, or laptop. For those devices, the Wave Pro Hi-Fi USB-C connector is the right upgrade.
    • You need microphone support. A 4.4mm balanced connection carries audio only, so this connector is not compatible with Wave Pro cables with microphone.

      I already have one when I bought the pro 1. I got confused when it said game Dac. The 3.5 mm jack does not work on the steelseries game dac and needs to be a little slight bit longer. 4.4mm jack is bigger and won't fit in the 3.5mm jack which I thought it would be longer not bigger in width. i got confused and now I have two of 4.4mm jack.

      Hi Hai, We’re sorry the compatibility wasn’t clear. The 4.4mm connector is designed exclusively for devices with a native 4.4mm balanced audio output. It is physically wider and will not fit the SteelSeries GameDAC’s 3.5mm port. Please contact our support team so we can review the available options for the duplicate connector.
