3.5mm airplane audio adapter

I wanted a pair of wired earbuds for those occasions when a direct line is needed (e.g., long airplane flight, forget to charge airpods, etc.). I took a chance in paying much more than usual because I value design and resilience as well as sound quality. The Soundbrenners are very sturdy in build, and everything fits very tightly with its plug-based connections. The wires are a bit thick, and take a little getting used to in terms of hanging them on my ears, but I don't worry about the ubiquitous cheap wiring that break at their joints. The sound quality seems very spatial--like my head is in a music chamber with surround sound resonance. I find the sound more attuned to high- and mid-range, as the base sounds a little narrow (e.g., using songs like Elbow 'Grounds for Divorce' and Billy Gibbons 'Perfectamundo' as exemplars), but vocals and the mid- and high-range sounds are extremely crisp.
