Musicians, a massive update has just landed on The Metronome by Soundbrenner app (version 1.31.0)! We’re super excited about this and we hope you are too. This feature is currently available for iOS only, but Android will launch soon!
What’s new in the Metronome by Soundbrenner app?
Practice tracking
Set goals Planning to practice for 10 minutes? 1 hour? You can now set your practice goals according to whatever you want.
Add your instrument Choose from our list of instruments, or add your own! Bonus: Soundbrenner Plus subscribers can add personalised instruments (including custom photos), tag your instruments when practicing and get separate statistics that you can share with your friends!
Session plan Setting specific goals for each practice session to help you with making faster improvements.
Timer ⏱ After you start your practice session, a timer will start to record how long you’ve been practicing for!
End-of-session recap You can now note down your entire practice recap! How did you feel? Did you achieve your goal? What could you do better next time? Reflecting on your practice session helps you make faster progress.
Streaks 🔥 Humans are creatures of habit. We love keeping streaks up like personal high scores. You can now see how many days in a row you’ve practiced for and you can even share it with your friends!
All new home page design
We’ve got an all new home section designed to give you a true personalised experience to motivate your practice habits!
Streak goals Not everyone has the time to practice daily, but we all want to keep our streaks up! You can change your streak goals so you can practice at your own pace.
Practice stats There’s something really satisfying about seeing your personal records. You can also view your practice sessions and personal high scores in this section. You can also share these with your friends on social media! 😉
Automatic practice sessions
If starting a new practice session each time is too much of a hassle for you, you can toggle on the “Automatic practice sessions” button. This will record a new practice session for you every time you start using the Soundbrenner metronome.
This is particularly convenient if you own a Soundbrenner wearable! All you’ll have to do is tap and play 🎶
