Do you remember what you wanted to be when you grew up? Were you able to fulfill your childhood dreams?
For most of us, childhood dreams just stay as dreams for the rest of our lives. They are difficult to achieve and sometimes we forget about the processes and the sacrifices it entails to make it happen. However, there are some of us who are willing to withstand the pain and are more than ready to clock in the long hours to make the dream happen. These people are who call we “dreamers”.

“I listen to music so much that it gives me the motivation when I’m struggling through something. I’ll put on my headphones and just continue to keep trying while listening to music.”
Jonah Vandever was born with backward knees, clubbed feet and a missing forehead. Prior to his birth, doctors told his mother that he would be incapable of doing things on his own. Following the advice of Jonah’s doctors, his mother decided to have both of Jonah’s legs amputated above the knee despite being warned that he would never walk and spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Two weeks after the amputation, Jonah stunned everyone by walking across the living room, grabbing a toy with stitches at the bottom of his stumps.
After years of listening to Rock n Roll and with the constant support from his mother and brother, Jona, a double leg amputee, has found his passion in playing the drums.

Maybe you’ve heard of him, maybe you haven’t, but you will have heard his music.
He’s worked with world class artists such as Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones and David Foster and produced soundtracks for motion pictures such as Independence Day, Pirates of the Carribean and more. Experienced yet humble, John “JR” Robinson has earned himself the title of the Most Recorded Drummer in History. He is, without a doubt, one of the most influential drummers in the industry today.

The very first prototypes of the Soundbrenner Pulse were much less appealing than what it looks today. Imagine wearing a dollar store watch while rockin it on stage. Probably not something you want to be caught wearing when performing. But we knew that and that’s why we then spent months back at the workshop – reconstructing, redesigning and prototyping – until we created the Soundbrenner Pulse that you know and love!
Just last month, we’re very honored and proud to receive one the highest design accolade in Asia for the Soundbrenner Pulse, the Grand Award at the Design for Asia Awards. Our CEO, Florian Simmendinger was invited to the presentation ceremony on November 30th to receive the award.

Experience Report: Florian Saeling introduced the Soundbrenner Pulse to Fanfarenzug Strausberg Marching & Showband close to Berlin (Germany). Florian joins us as a guest blogger and writes about what it is like to be part of the marching band family and how our smart vibrating metronome can add value to their activity.
Lucas and I were so excited about unboxing our first five Soundbrenner Pulses. We knew the device pretty well from tracing the campaign on Indiegogo but being the first marching band strapping it to our wrists felt kind of special and it still does. Right after we posted some photos on Instagram we got quite a few questions so I want to share our experiences and thoughts with everyone in the world who is lucky enough to either march with or instruct a band.
On the mission to change many people’s lives.
Marching bands are communities dedicated to achieve the greatest together. Every year, we as instructors believe in the power and potentials of millions of young people worldwide. Developing personality traits and skills they don’t even dream about in the beginning, making for the untouchable and getting them obsessed to “be powerful, be passionate, be 100 percent. All in every second on the way. Every toss, every note, every step.” (Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps).
